Blonde Electra set to perform at Leeds LGBT Pride 2017 (Leeds)

Americanised British pop duo ‘Blonde Electra‘ will be performing live on stage at Leeds LGBT Pride 2017 in August.

The duo comprised of sisters Ruby and Jazzy King. have been making music since they were kids. At the age of 15 and 17, they signed their first recording contract with EMI Germany, released their first album in Europe and got signed to Universal Publishing later that year.

In 2014 they were scouted by Simon Cowell to join the X-factor and are best known in Britain for their infectious energy in front of the camera as finalists on the show. Along with their Lady Gaga-inspired fashion and edgy performances, their famous ”X-Factor kiss” drew so much cyber controversy that it trended on Twitter worldwide. They have just finished recording their debut album ’‘Pop Tart’ in L.A at Johnny Depp’s studio and have features with the likes of MDL, Bonnie Mckee, Glen Ballard and their aunt Cher.

Everyone here at Gay Yorkshire and in #gayleeds is looking forward to seeing the girls perform at Leeds LGBT Pride on Sunday 6th August 2017.
