Queen Bee Leeds is returning and hoping to find a new Queen Bee to rule the hive for 2017!
Queen Bee 2017 will be hosted at the Marriott Hotel Leeds for the third year. Its perfect location in the heart of #gayleeds makes it extremely popular! We work with an excellent team at The Marriott who continue to work with the LGBT community to host such events.
This year the team at Queen Bee are looking forward to an even bigger and better show. They want to continue to grow Queen Bee and felt that it is extremely important to hold such a community-focused event. That is why the input of their audience is very important.
Last year, Queen Bee Leeds received a lot of positive feedback regarding the Marriott and its facilities. However also took on board some feedback regarding seating and technical issues.
This year, the team are planning a revised layout for the Thomas Ambler suite. This would move the stage to the right-hand side of the hall and the tables aligned accordingly. This ‘landscape’ layout would enable a better view for all guests. Also in consideration for this year’s event is a catwalk extension to the stage!
Sound and lighting will be significantly upgraded this year and they are planning the AV spec with Rainbow Entertainment.
Feedback received at the 2017 Owlie Awards was overwhelmingly positive (provided by Rainbow Entertainment) -and the team want to ensure all of the Queen Bee audience have a clear view of the performers and enjoy high-quality sound on the night.

Tickets are now available for purchase. Payment processing and ticket issuing are provided by Eventbrite. The tickets can be printed off once purchased or saved to a smartphone device. You must bring proof of purchase on the night to permit entry.

Single – £12
Single Ticket – Standard seat at a shared table. Includes entry and is only valid for 1 person. PLEASE NOTE – Cancellation and refunds can not be made. The ticket cost covers charges levied to Queen Bee for administration and payment processing. A minimum of £10.60 from this ticket cost will go towards the charity donation.
Table Ticket – £110
Entire Table – Full table with seating for up to 10 persons. Includes entry only and valid for 10 person max. PLEASE NOTE – Cancellation and refunds can not be made. The ticket cost covers charges levied to Queen Bee for administration and payment processing. A minimum of £10.60 from this ticket cost will go towards the charity donation.
Queen Bee wants to ensure that nearly all funds raised by ticket sales go towards their chosen cause. This year, the ticket prices fully cover the fees levied to us by the ticket and secure payment processing provider. This also ensures that the event remains cost neutral to the Queen Bee organisers. As this is a charity event and refunds result in processing fees, they can not provide a cancellation or refund option. Returned single or table tickets may not be resold in time which would result in a further loss to the charity.
