Here are five firsts from UK Singer/Songwriter Mickey Taylor. Mickey is set to perform live on stage at Leeds LGBT Pride 2017 (Main Event) which will take place on the 5th and 6th August:

1) GY: What was the first album you ever bought?

MT: The first album I bought was ‘Paramore’ – Misery Business, I’m still a die-hard fan! The first song I bought was Who let dogs out by ‘The Bahamen’.

 2) GY: What was your first time abroad?

MT: To Turkey. I was pretty young though so I can’t remember, I do remember the lizards coz they scare the f___ out of me!

 3) GY: Who was your first celebrity crush?

MT: Phoebe from ‘Charmed’,  as I kid I found her so stunning!

4) GY: What was the first place you worked at?

MT: I worked in ‘Tesco’ for a few months, but then quit and moved to ‘Blockbusters’. Looking back now that was a bad move!

5) GY: What was the first Gay/LGBT venue you visited?

MT: It was a bar in Colchester, Essex which is my hometown. It was called Vallies. It eventually changed names and become ‘Club-SX’ which I later managed before becoming a performer.
