The Bridge Bar is one of Leeds oldest LGB&T venues. Owned by Mr Lance Jessop and managed by Stuart Pugh, The Bridge has something to offer every night of the week.
You may be treated to the presence of some #gayleeds characters that work and frequent the Bridge regularly:
Dj Degsie may be there playing all the best old to new songs from his box, be warned thou because ex Birdcage Leeds host Degsie is lovely and hilarious but takes no prisoners when confronted by rudeness, so treat him nice or expect a tongue lashing from him the type that Drag Queens could only dream of, so be nice (he drinks Brandy and Coke!).
Judy & Leroy, this Karaoke host duo are like fixtures and fittings at the Bridge. Calm and placid Leroy is always by Judy’s side, Judy more than makes up for Leroy’s quietness thou with her down to earth humour, games and banter.
Miss Sordid Secret, glam queen of many a scene, Miss Sordid could be around either doing cabaret in aid of charity or playing you some tunes, she might even be singing with you on Karaoke some nights.
The infamous Marky Mark could be in on the action too!
Kira & Charlie, alternate Karaoke duo and Celine Dion fans Kira and Charlie get their audience singing with their very own brand of craziness, just hope and pray that Degsie doesn’t join them because it will certainly get even crazier by the minute.
Serving you at The Bridge could be #gayleeds Harry Potter and Bar manager Stuart Pugh, just don’t ask to see his wand.
Myra might be behind the pumps and telling you a rude joke or two.
